TRAINING:
- All Lanco events cancelled at F&M Baker Fields, Tuesday 5/17/11, due to field conditions.
- May 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 - 630pm to 8pm - at F&M. We may add a friendly match in addition to this training.

- Goalkeeper training - to begin tomorrow, May 10th at 6:00pm at Baker. Subsequent sessions will be held on May 17, 24, 31, and June 7th. All are scheduled to begin at 6:00pm. Currently working to add additional sessions to the calendar.

Mid Atlantic Cup college showcase (PA) - July 2011
COLLEGE PREPARATION:
Use the College Matchmaker program on www.collegeboard.com, answer questions and determine a short list of colleges that fit your profile.
Contact your high school and obtain an unofficial transcript showing your courses completed, grades, grade point average, and class rank. Make sure it is correct. Make copies to give to college coaches.
Take a small (1.5 in x 1.5 in) head shot photo of yourself in your uniform.
Create a one page resume with a head shot photo stapled in the top right hand corner, highlighting your academic record, athletic record, any other relevant accomplishments and references (coaches, etc.). Make sure your contact information is included along with your jersey number.
Create a general cover letter that can be modified and personalized for each school of interest containing why you are interested academically and athletically in the college.
Contact college coaches at your short list of colleges by email and inform them of your interest in the school; tell them where specifically they can come and see you play.
Send the college coaches a cover letter and resume.
Remind the coaches by email the week of the tournament showcase and include the field location of the game.
