LANCO United’s objective and top priority is the development and growth of youth soccer players to reach their full potential both as soccer players and people.  With administration and coaches who are uniquely qualified LANCO United Premier will strive to be a training center for boys and girls at an accelerated pace and assist and guide them to continue their soccer maturity at the next level.  Achieving this player development at an affordable cost is an important part of our phllosophy.  LANCO United does not turn profit from its players.  All player fees go directly towards the cost of training, administration, equipment, league and tournament play.  

The development of soccer players is a long process in which players progress gradually to a more complex involvement in the game.  This progression requires proper guidance and direction from quality knowledgeable and experienced coaches.  This progress cannot be rushed, however players should compete at a level that is challenging and demanding.  LANCO United believes elements essential for proper player development includes a competitive training environment, quality coaching, competitive matches, proper equipment and facilities, and a proper player identification system. LANCO United will apply the most modern and effective training methods to develop their players as individuals and as a team in an intense training environment.

 

Our club is about working with players to improve performance, not about recruiting players to build teams to win championships.  Soccer is a player’s game and players should be considered first when political, administrative and coaching decisions are being made.  LANCO United is a club whose leadership and coaches have roots within the local community, and who care about the state of the game in Lancaster County.  It’s all about the kids.
